As Black Swan came out strong and Natalie Portman won Best Actress Award for the recent Oscars, we thought we would title today’s inspiration after Black Swan. We do not usually review movie/film memorabilia and designs, but this theme was too worthy of a mention.
Black Swan came from a re-adaptation of classic story of a ballet opera by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. A beautiful princess met prince charming got turned into a swan by an evil witch. The spell would break only if there was true love. The prince however fell in love with a black swan, causing much pain to the princess who took her own life. (This is what Natalie Portman said in the movie)
We expected a lot of “Drama” in the promotional posters, but instead we found these:

The above (last picture) is not one of the official posters. But it’s well done, dark and well connected to the emotions or the title surrounding “Black Swan” Very worth the effort, Ana Fagarazzi. We decided to make it the featured image for this post.
